“Chinook K9 was recommended to us from our local Pet Planet. We had just rescued a dog from Cochrane Humane society. She was very friendly with people, but extremely aggressive with other dogs. We did the in-person training sessions. There were immediate results after our first session without the use of “pain / force tools”, simply energy work and using the spatial environment between us. It was as much training for Zena as it was training for us. For us to learn the proper way to handle and educate our dog. We now have the confidence to walk our dog in public places around other dogs and distractions. We also enjoy greatly the monthly pack walks provided by Chinook K9 for current and past clients. “We took our cane corso here for board and train for his reactivity. Before coming here we struggled to take our dog for a walk around the block due to his reactivity. This was the Best decision we could have made for our dog. Thanks to all of the training and work they did with him. He now walks so well on a leash and is capable of passing by dogs and other triggers on walks. We are amazed with his progress. “My dog suffered from severe separation anxiety, lack of boundaries, minimal listening skills and was aggressive towards males leading to my inability to comfortable take him out in public. Dylan with Chinook K9 worked wonders with him. He came back to us crate trained, with excellent recall and overall listening skills. Dylan’s hardwork turned my dogs life around. “We are so beyond impressed with the things Dylan and Robyn were able to achieve with Arrow when they had him. He is a completely different dog, and truly the dog we always wanted. “Great Board and Train Facility!
My partner and I were having some troubles with our 1-year old lab with impulse control and reactivity and we did the 4 week board and train and are super happy with the results. Looking forward to participating in there group classes to keep our dog up to snuff with his obedience and commands! Highly recommend these guys and their programs!”
“We have German Shepherd pup Loki who needs major training. As first time dog owners, Dylan gave us tons of information about the breed and how to be a good dog owners.
The program includes the tools needed for training, go home and follow up session. Not only provided the needed training for the dog, but also for us, owners too which is more important in the long run.
Now, we were able to go for hikes stressed-free and can be able to roam around town with Loki nicely.
Until now, we use their services for boarding if we need someone to look out for our pup when we are out of town.
